Il platoon è caratterizzato da un round nose ed un outline con linee parallele piene.
Non appena salirai sulla tavola, il feeling è quello di riuscire a gestire facilmente questo Malibu. Avrai tutto il tempo necessario a quegli aggiustamenti che ti permetteranno di cambiare direzione sulla parete dell’onda.
I principianti ne apprezzeranno la facilitĂ  nel paddling ,partenendo bene ed in anticipo.
Questa tavola è comunque studiata anche per maggiori prestazioni. I surfers esperti rimarranno sorpresi dall’accelerazione in uscita dopo aver performato una curva. Adatta veramente a chiunque dal principiante al surfer avanzato.
